College and Career Readiness Standards
The new College and Career Readiness Standards were collaboratively developed to identify, evaluate, synthesize and create high-quality, rigorous standards for Indiana students. These standards have been validated as college and career ready. Students who master these objectives will graduate from high school and be ready to successfully enter the workplace or pursue an industry recognized certification or plan a post-secondary education without the need for remediation.
The Department of Education has prepared and made available a complete listing of all academic standards for the state.
Three areas of focus for students include: Academic, Career, and Social/Emotional Development. Explanation and guidance for each are available online.
